Legislative Information
The University of Nebraska is a state-funded agency, with approximately one-fourth of the operating budget coming from state funds. University representatives meet regularly with legislators to provide information on the financial needs of the university, as well as a variety of policy issues that impact higher education in our state.

The University of Nebraska Advocates are a statewide team of alumni, community members and friends who are passionate about the University and want to help raise awareness of its contributions to the state of Nebraska.

Nebraska Accountability and Disclosure
The University of Nebraska, a registered principal with the Nebraska Accountability and Disclosure Commission, must comply with the requirements of the Nebraska Political Accountability and Disclosure Act. This document provides guidance on providing campus-specific gifts to state officials.
