What to Review in the New Canvas Instance
As part of the 2026 systemwide Canvas Convergence project, some course elements may require faculty review or minor initial adjustments. As you login to the new instance of NU’s Canvas for the first time, we encourage you to use this checklist to ensure your course and integrations are functioning as expected.
Course migration may not have preserved every display or setting exactly as before. A quick review with this checklist now can prevent student confusion later. We suggest instructors click through courses in “student view” to make sure everything looks as intended.
If things don’t initially look quite right to you, please rest assured we are here to help, and our team will partner closely with you in order to get your content adjusted in a way that meets your needs. Please contact the team directly at its-lmsteam@nebraska.edu for assistance or visit the Canvas Faculty Support page.
