This team, who supports Canvas and integrated tools, is part of the University of Nebraska ITS. Within NU ITS, a broader Learning Technologies Division supports broader efforts related to teaching with technology including emerging technologies (pilots of new tools + support for AI), IT training and development (support for Bridge & NU Advance, as well as delivers IT-related trainings in person and online across NU campuses), learning spaces* (classroom technology), and assessment** (testing centers, Qualtrics, course evaluation tools). The Learning Technologies Division supports all faculty teaching at UNK, UNL, UNO, UNMC and NCTA.
AVP, Learning Technologies & IT Strategy
Collaborates broadly with faculty and academic leadership across NU to ensure learning technology services, support and overall approach is aligned to top goals and needs for teaching with technology.
Executive Director, Learning Spaces
Leads the strategy, design, and support of innovative learning environments across the NU System.
Director, Emerging Technologies
Advances AI initiatives leading the exploration and piloting of innovative technologies across the NU System.
Director, IT Training and Development
Advances and coordinates technology training for faculty, staff, and students across the NU System.
