Virtual Zoom Support (Weekdays, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
ITS provides technical support for Canvas, including assistance with course copying or merging, locating missing courses, managing user access, and troubleshooting Canvas tools.
Live virtual Zoom support is available weekdays from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, hosted by University of Nebraska ITS staff.
To join the virtual Zoom support room, follow the steps below:
- Log in to Canvas
- In the left side global navigation menu, click on Help
- Click on Canvas Drop In Support

If you prefer to request technical Canvas support by email, our ITS Learning Management System (LMS) team is here to help at its-lmsteam@nebraska.edu.

24/7 After Hours Canvas Support
24/7 after hours support is available through Instructure. If they’re unable to resolve your issue, an escalated ticket will be created for the NU Canvas team and addressed the next business day.
Use the following steps to connect with Instructure Support:

Campus Workshops
Faculty who prefer guided learning can participate in the Canvas trainings and workshops offered at UNK, UNL, and UNO. These sessions provide practical support, help you explore new features, and strengthen your teaching with real-time assistance.
