Brand Guide and Logo Usage
The University of Nebraska is a four-campus system that operates within a blended house brand architecture model. Both the NU System/Office of the President and each campus have unique brands that reflect their mission and purpose; these brands complement each other while remaining distinct.
The University of Nebraska System brand guide is a resource for creative executions of the System brand. Each campus has a unique sub-identity and accompanying brand guide. These guides outline the fundamental elements of the brand and offer basic instructions for how to use each element. Following these guidelines will ensure brand consistency, which will strengthen recognition and increase brand effectiveness.
There is a separate, more in-depth university-wide stationery guide that includes requirements for stationery: business cards, letterhead and envelopes and logo usage and clear space. University of Nebraska System, campus, university-wide institute and the University of Nebraska Foundation logos are touched on briefly in the NU System brand guide as they pertain to brand messaging vs. more formal institutional usage.
