In response to COVID-19 concerns, an abundance of conferences and travel plans are being cancelled. If a traveler pre-paid for business travel arrangements with a personal credit card and could not get a refund or credit, instructions are available on how to submit an expense report for reimbursement.
The process of securing hotel reservations in the Concur booking tool using the university credit card is now available. This applies to hotel reservations made within Concur or with a Fox World Travel agent beginning March 13, 2020.

Fox World Travel representatives were at NU campuses on February 4 - 6, 2020. Video recordings and presentation materials for the main session and the group booking session are now available.
Conferma /Secure Pay hotels reservations made via the Concur booking tool before February 1, 2020 will still be an active reservation, however the Conferma application to direct pay is not available.
Recently, a new coronavirus broke out in China and is starting to spread. So, just what is the coronavirus and how does it impact travel?
Due to the transition from Travel & Transport to Fox World Travel, direct pay via the university credit card (Conferma) will be temporarily disabled.
Representatives from Fox World Travel will be visiting the NU campuses on February 4, 5, and 6.
As a reminder, Fox World Travel Inc. will become the University of Nebraska’s official travel management partner effective Feb. 1, 2020. On that date, employees with the privilege of traveling on university business should arrange their travel through Fox.
