Holly Johnson

Holly Johnson is the Digital Design System Specialist for External Relations. In her role, she is responsible for the product vision of the NUcleus Design System, supporting the NU System brand and eight other brands in the brand family. She leads the design of new and existing websites, microsites, emails and other digital interfaces. She has been in this role since August 2017.

She brings over 10 years of education and non-profit design experience having worked as a Communications Designer at the Nebraska Department of Education, Office of Early Childhood and an Art Director Firespring. She currently teaches design and creative classes at Southeast Community College-Continuing Education and previously taught web classes for the Graphic Design | Media Arts program at Southeast Community College.

Holly received her associate’s degree in Graphic Design | Media Arts from Southeast Community College. She resides in Lincoln with her husband, Shane and their children, Carter and Aria.
