Internal Candidate Experience
In last week’s Fun Fact Friday, Volume 6, we introduced an exciting new feature within SuccessFactors: our internal job board. Not only does this new feature enhance our recruiting process, it also provides a valuable resource for you as a potential internal candidate to explore new positions across all of our colleges and campuses.
By selecting the “Careers” option from the “Home” dropdown menu, you can easily access the page that lets you search for available job openings on the internal job board. This a great way to explore open opportunities both at the University of Nebraska and the Nebraska State Colleges.

Once you select either University of Nebraska or Nebraska State College System , you arrive at the job board. This board showcases a comprehensive list of all available positions, allowing you to browse through various opportunities.

Additional search/ filter functionality allows you to “Refine Your Search”. If you have specific criteria, such as the type of positions, campus, category, or job location, you can use this feature to filter the job postings. This option allows you to customize your search results for a more targeted job search experience.

When you identify a job position that grabs your interest, click on the link to access the job details. You will be able to view the qualifications and all relevant details about the position. The information displayed comes from the approved job requisition, as outlined in Fun Fact Friday, Volume 5.
The process is straightforward. If you find the position appealing and wish to proceed with your application, simply click the “Apply now” button on the page.

As an internal applicant, you will navigate the application by submitting essential information, such as your resume, personal details, work experience, and formal education. Once you have filled out all the required fields in the application, you can easily submit it by clicking the “Apply” button.
The Internal Candidate Experience through our new internal job board is a significant advancement for current employees seeking opportunities within the University of Nebraska and the Nebraska State Colleges. This user-friendly platform not only provides access to exclusive positions but also allows for a customized job search tailored to individual preferences.
