UMR, the University’s third-party administrator of our health plan, has mailed new ID cards to all University of Nebraska’s health insurance plan members. The new cards remove a First Health logo on the back of the ID card that is no longer relevant to your UMR plan. You should have received a new ID card at your home address at the end of December.
Your current ID card will continue to work. UMR only needed to remove the logo from the card.
Health plan enrollees with employee-only coverage received one ID card from UMR. Health plan enrollees with a spouse, adult designee, or children on their plan received two ID cards. You may call UMR (844-659-5059) to request additional cards, print temporary cards from the umr.com portal once you have registered, or order additional cards from the umr.com portal. The UMR cards serve as both your health and pharmacy insurance card.
