UNO Chancellor Search

About the UNO Chancellor Search

On October 22, 2020, University of Nebraska system President Ted Carter announced the launch of a national search for the next chancellor of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, aiming to build on the growth and momentum of the state’s metropolitan university. Current UNO Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D. will remain chancellor of the University of Nebraska Medical Center, a role he has held since 2014.

The NU system has partnered with the national firm AGB Search for the UNO chancellor search. President Carter has assembled a committee to guide the search, which includes students, faculty, staff, community members and other key UNO constituencies. Further details, including opportunities to provide public input on the search, will be announced on this website.
