Sarah Hotovy is a native of York, Nebraska, and is a second-year medical student at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She is a 2012 graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University, majoring in Political Science and Biochemistry. After spending a year in Indonesia as a Fulbright Scholar, she worked for health care quality improvement organizations in Nebraska before pursuing a career as a physician. At UNMC, she has served as the co-chair of Student Delegates, the Student Senate Legislative Liaison, and the Clinical Logistics Co-Coordinator for the SHARING Student-Led Free Clinics. She is honored to have the opportunity to represent the UNMC community on the Board of Regents.
