Nicole Kent, a graduate of Dundy County Stratton High School in Benkelman, Nebraska, is a senior at the University of Nebraska at Kearney majoring in Biology. Following her graduation from UNK, she hopes to attend medical school and pursue a career as a physician. Nicole’s parents both work for Dundy County Stratton Public Schools. From the time she was young, her parents emphasized the importance of education, hard work, and concern for others. Nicole is involved in a variety of organizations and extracurricular activities at UNK, including Mortar Board, Chancellor’s Ambassadors, the Honors Program, Christian Student Fellowship, Kearney Health Opportunities Program, Undergraduate Research Fellows, and the International Justice Mission. In her free time, you can find Nicole playing almost every intramural offered at UNK. She is honored to have this opportunity to represent UNK on the Board of Regents.
