Batool Ibrahim is a senior political science and global studies major attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Batool graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School and was raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. She has been involved in ASUN Student Government this past year as the Senator for the College of Arts and Sciences and the co-chair for the Campus Life and Safety committee before taking on the role of Student Regent and ASUN President. Batool has a passion for improving diversity, equity, and inclusion and has focused on changing academic and campus climate to improve the experience of marginalized students. She has worked on the COVID-19 community relief initiative that was awarded a $20,000 grant to supply the Lincoln and Omaha community with wellness items, and other family needs. Batool is a Nebraska Achievement Scholar, an Emerging Leader Scholar, and a TRIO Student Scholar.
