On behalf of the Board of Regents, I am pleased to present a KUDOS award to David Padgett in UNMC Information Technology Services.
A programmer/analyst in the Application Services department, David wrote a flexible, user-friendly program for the UNMC Staff, On-line Performance Evaluation System, said his nominator, Carmen Sirizzotti of Human Resources.

“Working with David was a pleasure because he focused on what needed to be done and how it needed to be done,” she said.
The new online assessment tool received rave reviews from the more than 1,700 staff members submitting evaluations online. Given its early success, that number is expected to grow as more units fully implement the tool.
“David believes in quality and it shows in the system he delivered,” his nominator said. “There was no ‘try.’ There was ‘do’ and ‘do it right.’ ”
Once the system was developed, David tested and made adjustments accordingly, always listening to the needs of the customer. “His follow-up was outstanding. He always had a positive attitude,” she said.
Today, David Padgett is accompanied by his wife Sandee, his supervisor, Nicole Becker and his co-worker, Erik Palafox.
