Bradley Green

Associate Director of Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions, UNK
September 16, 2016

On behalf of the Board of Regents, I am pleased to present a KUDOS Award to Bradley Green, Associate Director of Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

A native of Grand Island, Brad has been a member of the UNK family since enrolling as a freshman in 2007. He worked for the Admissions Office nearly his entire undergraduate career as a Student Diplomat, tour guide, and New Student Enrollment Leader – and he never left. Brad was a great fit as a student, and is a great fit now. After earning his degree in Secondary History Education and Secondary Mild/Moderate Special Education, he was hired as a full-time Admissions Counselor and quickly advanced to the position of Assistant Director, and then to his current position as Associate Director. His major responsibilities include management of undergraduate recruitment efforts both on and off campus, the campus visit and dual enrollment programs, and coordination of New Student Enrollment with the First Year Program. In addition, he manages Undergraduate Admissions’ overall communication, marketing, social media, and technology strategy to effectively impact prospective students and families. Brad’s contribution to UNK’s growth goals cannot be understated. “Brad is passionate about UNK and a very proud alum,” says Director of Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions Dusty Newton. “He is highly respected and well-liked throughout campus and has been very active not only at UNK, but in the Kearney community.”

In addition to day-to-day work responsibilities, Brad has graduated from both the Leadership UNK and Leadership Kearney programs and was named a Rising Star in 2013 by the Admissions regional association. He says, however, his greatest accomplishment is marrying Stephanie, just last October.

Congratulations, Brad, for being a difference maker. We take pride in acknowledging your work on behalf of the University of Nebraska.
