The Board of Regents is pleased to present a KUDOS award to Hank Robinson, the Director of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Since his arrival in 1997, Hank has made countless contributions to the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He has transformed the Office of Institutional Effectiveness into a key resource for the campus community, and his actions have not gone unnoticed.

Hank recently played an instrumental role in implementing an online method for collecting and managing course evaluations. Automated Course Evaluations, which launched in November 2014, better serve faculty, students, and the university.

Now, thanks in part to Hank’s efforts, faculty receive summary reports quicker than ever before, and students have the flexibility to complete evaluations outside of class time. In addition, the paperless system reduces costs and supports the university’s commitment to environmental sustainability. In addition to his work with Automatic Course Evaluations, Hank helped the university develop an analytics tool to identify students at-risk of falling off the graduation path. He also continues to be essential in collecting data on what students are doing upon graduation.

Today Hank has brought his wife, Susie Robinson, to celebrate this great honor with him. Please join me in thanking Hank for his dedication to the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
