The Board of Regents is pleased to present a KUDOS award to David Sample, facilities operator in maintenance and utility services at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Praised by his nominator Larry Adler, lead facilities operator for maintenance and operations, for being an excellent worker, Dave always goes that extra step.

He has been a dedicated staff member in maintenance and utility services since his arrival 12 years ago. He is an employee who takes pride in his work and it shows.
“Dave is always polite and communicates very well with customers. For example: The Aviation Institute wanted to display an old wooden propeller by mounting it to a wall. After talking with them, Dave installed a bearing and mounting board on the back of the propeller – it looks great and spins like a top!” Adler said.
Dave’s guest today is his wife Dr. Lisa Sample. She is employed with UNO in the School of Criminology.
