The Board of Regents is pleased to present a KUDOS award to Angela Sargus, an administrative assistant in the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Praised by her nominator B.J. Reed for being an excellent worker, Angie is the lynchpin between UNO and the campus and community.
She has been a dedicated staff member in the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor since her arrival six years ago. She always has a smile and greets guests and staff in a manner that makes them feel at home and comfortable.
“Numerous community and campus leaders have commented on her ability to put them at ease while being responsive to their needs,” Reed said. “She knows exactly what to do and how to address an incredibly varied set of skills.
“Adaptability is critical in Ms. Sargus’s position. No day is like the other. Demands are often highly challenging, and she is always up to those challenges every day.”
Angie’s guest today is her husband, Harold Sargus.
