This November the University of Nebraska community celebrates Native American Heritage Month, an opportunity for all of us to honor and reflect on the unique histories, traditions and contributions of Native peoples in Nebraska and beyond. I encourage all students, faculty and staff to use this time to learn and reflect, and to take part in the many educational and celebratory activities happening this month across our campuses. Native history is part of Nebraska's history, and we are proud to honor our Native friends, colleagues and fellow citizens, past and present.
COVID-19 UPDATE: NU is open. Faculty/staff are working in-person and campuses are open for in-person learning this spring.MORE INFO
