Will I keep my current phone number?
Yes. all exisiting phone numbers will be retained and moved to Teams Phone.
Will Teams Phone work if the internet is down?
Teams Phone requires an internet connection to operate, similar to the current VoIP phone system. To help minimize disruption, there are built-in redundancies at each campus for power, network, and internet connectivity.
If a local outage occurs, you can still access Teams Phone through an internet browser at another location or by using the optional mobile app. In addition, because Teams Phone is a hosted service, voicemail will continue to be received even during a local network outage.
