The Instructional Design (ID) Summit is a new initiative to bring University of Nebraska instructional designers together to discuss challenges and opportunities as well as share ideas and best practices with one another across the four campuses.
The ID Summit will be held quarterly, three times via web chat and once as an in-person retreat, with the first ID Summit scheduled to take place via web chat on Tuesday, October 17. The summit aims to bring together NU instructional designers and discuss topics including individual campus structures, areas of potential collaboration and identification of individual areas of expertise or interest among NU instructional designers.
For instructional designers attending the upcoming Women Advance IT Conference, a table will be reserved during the Wednesday luncheon on October 18, where introductions and conversations started during the ID Summit web chat can be continued.
