Join us for Campus Conversations, an online professional development series for those interested in online learning at the University of Nebraska.
The University of Nebraska at Kearney and University of Nebraska Online invite you to register for the upcoming live webcast event presented by Matt Crosslin, Ph.D., of Orbis Education. In the presentation, “Individualized Learning Through Self-Mapped Learning Pathways,” Matt discusses how it’s possible to design for both the similarities and differences in our students through Self-Mapped Learning Pathways.
Self-Mapped Learning Pathways is a course design methodology that gives learners options to follow the instructor or create their own unique pathway... or do both at the same time. While this is not a new idea, recent research and experimentation into designing courses with these options has uncovered some interesting ways to make course individualization a possibility in various contexts.
Attendees will learn:
- How to design courses for similarities and individual differences in today’s learners
- About Self-Mapped Learning Pathways
- Tips to incorporate individualization in course development
All University of Nebraska administrators, faculty and staff from all four campuses are invited to attend this live-webcast presentation free of charge.
