The University of Nebraska Board of Regents will meet Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at Varner Hall, 3835 Holdrege St. in Lincoln. Committee meetings will begin at 8 a.m. and the Board meeting begins at 10:15 a.m. All meetings are open to the public. Meetings also will be audio-streamed live at

The Board will be asked to approve:

  • An agreement between the University of Nebraska Foundation and the Board of Regents for the purchase of the property at 14th and Military Road. (Addendum X-B-2)
  • The program statement and budget for the Breslow Ice Center at UNL. (Addendum X-B-4)
  • The program statements and budgets for renovations at Behlen Laboratory and Manter Hall at UNL. (Addendums X-B-5 and X-B-6)
  • The project budget for replacing the sound system within Memorial Stadium and installing Wifi. (Addendum X-B-9)
  • The selection of RDG Planning and Design to provide design services for the Nebraska Veterinary Diagnostic Center at UNL. (Addendum X-B-11)
  • 2014-15 residence hall room and board rates for the University of Nebraska at Kearney, University of Nebraska at Omaha and Nebraska Technical College of Agriculture. (Addendums X-B-13, X-B-14 and X-B-15)
