Jane Petersen
Jane Petersen
Coordinator of Training
and Instructional Support

Jane joined the Information Technology Services staff at UNK only 18 months ago, and in that short time has established herself as a favorite "go to" person for technology-related questions. She is industrious and energetic, and extraordinarily talented in communicating high-tech concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Her knowledge is impressive; her enthusiasm is contagious.

As coordinator of training and instructional support, Jane plays an integral role in implementing and supporting new technology initiatives for instruction in the classroom. She provides training for groups, yet also provides one-on-one help for all levels of technology users. In addition, she is the driving force behind podcasting at UNK.

According to Deborah Schroeder, her supervisor and Assistant Vice Chancellor for Information Technology: "Jane wants technology to be one of UNK's greatest assets, and she works tirelessly to promote innovative uses for faculty and students."
