Julie Saalfeld Office Associate Division of Continuing Education UNK
The Board of Regents is pleased to present at KUDOS award to Julie Saalfeld, Office Associate in the Division of Continuing Education at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She has held this position for 27 years.
Her experience, knowledge, exemplary work ethic and production, and her teamwork attitude combine to make her a wonderful role model and an extremely valuable resource. In addition, her charm, poise, and quick wit make her a favorite among her colleagues.
Julie’s primary responsibilities include coordinating office services and communication; providing support to distance education students and faculty; preparing correspondence, comprehensive reports and marketing publications; coordinating the Paramedic Training Program; serving as a liaison with constituencies; updating various databases; and maintaining a professional office atmosphere.
She designs and develops UNK’s eCampus Schedule, a publication that has evolved from a simple document into a sizeable, complex project. Many of the improvements to this schedule are attributed to Julie’s innovation and creativity. Both personally and professionally, she is a tremendous asset to her division and the entire campus.
The Board of Regents is honored to recognize Julie Saalfeld for her exceptional level of assistance to students, faculty, and colleagues, and for her longstanding commitment to the university community.
