Bryan Miller
Computer Technician, UNL

On behalf of the Board of Regents, I am pleased to present a Kudos award to Bryan Miller, computer technician in the dean’s office in the College of Arts &Sciences at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Bryan is the chief computer technician for the Geosciences Department. His duties and responsibilities include all phases of upkeep of computers and peripherals. This includes 120 individual computers and workstations, several networked printers and the department server systems. He has maintained these systems remarkably while remaining a pleasant, extremely helpful, and good-humored member of the team.

One of the most admirable characteristics that Bryan consistently exhibits is his proactive monitoring of the computing facilities. He has repeatedly been able to spot potential problems before they happen, providing time to formulate and enact solutions before faculty or students are inconvenienced. He has the ability to work with people at all levels of computer sophistication. Bryan Miller is a top-notch employee of the University who routinely goes above and beyond the expectations for his position.

Please join me in thanking Bryan for his dedication to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Arts & Sciences.
