Julie’s responsibilities include providing support for the department head, coordinating meetings, overseeing conference planning, staff and hiring processes and conducting staff evaluations.
Julie consistently performs beyond expectations with contagious cheerfulness. She is extremely professional, competent, helpful, efficient, and an accomplished individual. Julie looks for opportunities to develop professionally and encourages staff members to take advantage of opportunities for self-development and professional growth. As office supervisor, she has organized the work of the department so that staff members are able to work according to their strengths.
Julie makes the office atmosphere pleasant by being fair, knowledgeable, and maintaining a positive attitude. She is organized, trustworthy, and completes projects in a timely manner.
Julie has received the IANR Outstanding Employee award. The high quality of her performance has also been recognized in her recent award as the Floyd S. Oldt Outstanding Staff Award for distinguished service and contributions to the university community.
