Once proposals for Big Ideas are received, they will be vetted by faculty panels using a scoring rubric that maps to the RFA. Ideas meeting the scoring criteria will be advanced for further university review by a steering committee, the CAOs and CROs, and the President and Chancellors. Accepted proposals will then go through external funding feasibility studies.
To note: while some ideas will advance as a University-wide Big Idea, others may be reviewed for private funding potential at the campus, college or unit level.
