My interest in African and African-related studies lies at the intersection of African literature, and African resource management. My scholarly work is on representations of land, water, and food in African literature, and accompanying discussions about land rights, water rights, and food insecurity. I also produce visual art (photo books, photo essays, and video documentaries) on urban spaces in East and West Africa.
