I currently teach an undergraduate and graduate class on Francophone West Africa Cultures

I have developed a course on Francophone West Africa to introduce our undergraduate and graduate students to West African cultures and literatures. I also have plans to develop a service-learning component by taking students to Sénégal at the end of the class. I am currently teaching this class for the first time. Omaha is also home to a big community of Francophone Africans and I regularly have African students in all of my French classes.
