The Board of Regents is pleased to present a KUDOS award to Jesse McBee, Operations Manager in the School of Music at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Jesse plays a vital role in supporting the Strauss Performing Arts Center, where he manages event scheduling and staffing for the School of Music faculty and students, as well as internal and external clients.
Melissa Berke, Senior Associate Dean for the College of Communication, Fine Arts and Media, says, “Since joining the College of Communication, Fine Arts and Media, Jesse has improved both the quality and efficiency of building operations at Strauss Performing Arts Center.”
Berke says, “Faculty and students are extremely complimentary of Jesse and his work. They find him responsive, knowledgeable, and efficient,” and he brings a calm demeanor to high-stress events, helping ensure clients have what they need for a successful experience.
She also notes that Jesse’s foresight and creative problem-solving help prevent issues before they occur, while his attention to detail and professional approach make him, “such an asset to our college.”
Berke adds that the positive experiences of visitors and external clients at Strauss are, “in large part due to his efforts.”
