IT Strategy
What We Do
Our team supports ITS's top technology initiatives and strategic projects, helping ensure they align with the University of Nebraska System's strategic priorities. We bring together project management, change management, and strategic communications expertise to guide successful outcomes through effective planning, stakeholder engagement, and change adoption.
Working across ITS, the university system, and campus partners, we help teams navigate complex initiatives while keeping stakeholders informed, engaged, and prepared for change.
The team also coordinates strategic reporting on behalf of ITS and the Vice President for Information Technology (VPIT) in support of the University of Nebraska Strategic Plan and the Odyssey to Extraordinary framework. This includes project and initiative updates, cross-functional collaboration, budget planning, and strategic prioritization efforts that help ITS and its partners advance the university's five foundational pillars.
How We Align
Guided by the strategic plans of the University of Nebraska System and ITS, our team focuses on aligning efforts with the initiatives that matter most. Through project support, stakeholder engagement, and effective change management, we help NU ITS maximize value, prioritize resources, sustain critical services, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
IT Strategy also helps advance the ITS Core Values across the organization by encouraging excellence, strengthening partnerships, amplifying stakeholder voices, promoting innovative thinking, and building trust through integrity, transparency, and clear communication.
