Terry DeVries Research Analyst South Central Research & Extension Center in Clay Center UNL
Terry is responsible for coordinating the activities of the crop entomology research program at the Center, including implementation of experimental plans, planting, maintaining, and harvesting the plots, data collection and analysis, and the training and supervising of temporary employees.
This program includes evaluation of insecticide effectiveness, and the development of transgenic insect-resistant crops.
Terry has taken the lead in developing educational materials for a wide variety of audiences, including agricultural producers and participants in regional and national entomology conferences.
