Frank Burton Custodial Supervisor Department of Environmental Services UNO
Frank has been a member of the UNO staff for 15 years. In those years, he has seen many physical changes on the UNO campus, but never as many as in recent years, as several campus landmarks have undergone renovations and expanded with new additions.
The Board of Regents reviewed one example of campus improvements during its visit to the UNO campus last month. Arts & Sciences Hall has been completely remodeled and updated. The work was accomplished in phases, and Frank's role was to assist departments in moving from the building into available space in the former Engineering Building and moving back again when their respective sections of the project was completed.
Staff members who work with Frank say his sense of humor and his patience are two qualities that helped make these office transitions go smoothly.
