Dale also has introduced a new level of flexibility in working with other academic and administrative departments at UNL. For example, the Libraries joined with the Research Office to finance the purchase of the Web of Science program and with the mathematics & statistics department to acquire a series of journals needed by a newly hired professor to support his research.
She has volunteered to help staff members in other departments learn applications of the new SAP computer software, with which she is particularly skilled. And, she spends many of her weekends assisting with a Curriculum & Instruction course offered in Macy, Nebraska by the UNL Teachers College. The course helps Native American teachers enhance their skills and improve learning experiences for their students.
