The Board of Regents is pleased to present a KUDOS award today to Carol Rose, Staff Assistant in the College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Carol has worked in the UNO College of Business Administration Dean’s office for less than two years. However, in that time she has made a terrific impression on faculty, staff, students and the public. Carol is often the first point of contact for people – either in person or over the phone – when they are looking for information on the college.
Dean Louis Pol (Pole) describes Carol as professional, knowledgeable, warm and caring, and adds that Rose has become a significant resource for the MBA program. In fact, since taking her position in the office, MBA enrollment has increased by more than 15 percent.
Carol also has brought increased efficiency and organization to the office, handling student files and databases, and helping to transition paper teaching evaluation data to an electronic format.
Last year she coordinated the CBA Honors and Awards ceremony, which other faculty and staff in the college described as a flawless event.
And, on top of all this – according to Lex Kaczmarek (Kaz-mare-ick), the director of UNO’s MBA program – Carol always has a big smile on her face.
