On behalf of the Board of Regents, I am pleased to present a
KUDOS award to Tammy Goldsberry, manager of UNO cashiering
and student accounts.
An Omaha native, Tammy received her undergraduate degree
from Peru State College and a master’s in public administration
from the UNO. Currently, she is working on a second master’s
degree from UNO in Management Information Systems. Tammy
has been employed at the university since 1994.

In early 2008, Tammy was part of the decision team engaged in
choosing a new student information system for the University’s
campuses. She continues to be deeply involved in the
implementation of the new system.
One co‐worker says, “Tammy has spent many hours above and
beyond the norm to accomplish tasks. Though her hours have
been long and many, Tammy has managed to maintain a positive
and effective working relationship with the faculty, staff and
students at UNO. The day the new SIS system went live, Tammy
spent the night at the university to ensure that the transition
would go as smoothly as possible.”
Tammy says her job offers new challenges every day. She enjoys
working with the students and helping to solve problems.
Joining her today is her husband, Mark Goldsberry, who serves as
director of records and registration at UNO.
