Brock Calamari
University of Nebraska Medical Center
Brock Calamari joins us from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Brock is a rising fourth-year medical student originally from Barrington, Illinois. He attended UNL, where he studied Forensic Biology. In his last three years as a college of medicine senator, Brock has been active writing resolutions on state legislation, renewing election rules, and volunteering at senate events. He plans to continue the work done by previous senates to amplify the voice of students on campus and at the state level. Many challenges face students, UNMC, and the wider healthcare field from all levels of government. As the future of Nebraska’s healthcare system, Brock believes students are in a unique position to speak to these issues and chart a better path forward.
