The Board of Regents is pleased to present a KUDOS award to December Lange Treacy, Director of Undergraduate Advising for the University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Business Administration.
Steve Schulz, the Lucas Diamond Professor and Associate Professor of Management, says that “December has transformed the CBA advising operation through strategic vision and operational efficiency. Her efforts have yielded measurable improvements in student outcomes. She implemented data-driven systems that streamlined student interactions, developed communication protocols that ensure consistent messaging across the advising team, and established quality assurance measures that have elevated the services provided to students.”
But her impact doesn’t stop there.
Schulz says, “December's influence extends well beyond traditional advising boundaries. She has become an indispensable strategic partner in academic program development, contributing essential insights that bridge student outcomes with curriculum development. Her analytical approach to program evaluation has informed critical decisions about new program launches and existing program modifications.”
December is joined today by her husband Sean Treacy, and Dr. Molly Belieu, Assistant Dean of Student Success and Recruitment for the College of Business Administration.
Please join me in thanking December for her dedication to the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
