On behalf of the Board of Regents, I am pleased to present a KUDOS Award to UNMC’s Tina Renner, Business Operations Coordinator in the Police and Public Safety Department.
Tina joined UNMC in 2001, then joining the police and public safety department in 2002, where colleagues say she proactively seeks ways to improve protocols.
“Her forward-thinking mindset has led to the implementation of effective strategies that drive meaningful change in how we protect and serve our community,” one nominator said.
Another applauded how she takes on responsibilities with a smile and collaborates closely with partners to help standardize processes. This is helping to provide public safety services across the entire campus successfully.
Described as a servant leader, one colleague said, “Tina cares deeply for her team, ensuring they have what they need to be successful. She is committed to getting the job done, and her ability to keep projects moving is truly ‘next level’.”
Today, Tina is joined by Katrina Washington, Business Operations Specialist; Katelyn Rossell, Office Associate I; Police Sergeant Stephen Venteicher, and Police Captain Trevor O’Brien, all from UNO’s Public Safety Department.
Join me in thanking Tina for her commitment, collaboration and compassion. As support staff to UNMC’s police and public safety team, her work makes things easier for them, and in that way positively impacts the safety of the entire campus.
