If you’re looking to occupy space within the University's real property holdings, it begins here, too. All the University's real estate properties and functions—including real estate leasing, acquisition, sales, and property tax management—are managed through the Real Estate team.

  • Acquisition of real estate, through purchase, gift, or otherwise
  • Disposal of real estate, through processes including sale
  • Beginning, ending, and managing all leases to and by the University
  • Management of public notices concerning real estate
  • Support of construction projects—through access for vendors to easements for construction
  • Support the University's planning functions that involves use of real estate
  • Manage and process property taxes
  • Manage and process special assessments
  • Initiate and manage zoning actions by and affecting University real property
  • Management of municipal real property relationships on behalf of the University, including executive orders
  • Inventorize University building identifying information, including a formal building list
  • Maintenance and generation of real property maps
  • Management of cellular real property relationships
