The Facilities, Planning & Capital Programs group works on minor and capital projects across UNK, UNL and UNO—from more complex new construction to major renovation and improvements. We also manage interior design and a wide range of university real estate across Nebraska. We’re proud of helping to make campus buildings into spaces that maximize the educational experience—from learning to teaching, research to living—and managing the University of Nebraska's property holdings. Ashfall Fossil Beds
One of the premier mammal fossil sites in the world, on 360 acres of rangeland in Nebraska’s Verdigre Creek Valley.
Behlen Observatory
A research facility and astronomical observatory located in Mead, Nebraska, 38 miles northeast of Lincoln.
Cedar Point Biological Station
A 900-acre field research facility and experiential classroom in western Nebraska.
Dinsdale Learning Commons
A student-oriented, technology-rich collaborative environment and hub for innovation, research and learning.
Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program
Located in Miller Hall since its inception in 2010, the program moved into a new, custom-built home in the Dinsdale Family Learning Commons in 2021.
Glacier Creek Preserve
A 525-acre preserve situated northwest of Omaha in the rolling hills of eastern Nebraska.
Love Library North Screenwall Removal
Deteriorating decorative structures—precast concrete panels and metal screens—that adorned the roofline of Love North needed to be removed.
Nebraska Veterinary Diagnostic Center
The facility includes diagnostic and research labs, animal labs, offices and support facilities.

The store was moved from its location on the south side of the Food Industry Complex to the north side of the complex.
