Dear Faculty and Staff,
Beginning today, February 16, 2026, Adobe access at the University of Nebraska has moved to a new model that reflects usage patterns across the university and better aligns tools with how they’re most commonly used. This licensing model update responds to recent changes in Adobe’s licensing and pricing structure and ensures continued staff and faculty access while responsibly managing university resources.
Under the updated Adobe licensing model, faculty and staff will continue to automatically receive access to Adobe Acrobat Pro and may request access to Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Express as needed. To request access to Adobe Creative Cloud, submit a request at its.nebraska.edu/adobe.
Requests do not require supervisor or IT approval and can be submitted at any time. Access to Adobe Creative Cloud or Adobe Express is automatically provisioned based on your university role, and users will receive an email confirmation from Adobe, typically within 1-2 hours.
NU ITS is also updating how users sign in to Adobe. Users will continue to log in at adobe.com. If prompted, users should select “Company or School account,” enter their campus email address, and sign in using their TrueYou credentials to complete the process.
By aligning Adobe licenses with how tools are used across the university, NU ITS is working to preserve broad access to essential creative resources while exercising responsible stewardship of university funds. Students are encouraged to request access to Adobe Creative Cloud as their needs arise, and NU ITS will continue to support students through this transition.
