Assistant Director of Government Relations
Erin Cooper is the Assistant Director of Government Relations in the Office of External Relations. In her role, Erin helps to build positive and productive relationships with the state legislature and their staff, the governor, and other policy makers.
She has worked on key initiatives such as executing the University system’s legislative agenda, coordinating the annual ‘I Love NU’ Day at the state capitol, and creating the Student Advocacy network to increase collaboration between students on all four campuses.
Erin holds a B.A. in Global Studies from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
