The University of Nebraska Board of Regents will meet on Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, at Varner Hall, 3835 Holdrege St. in Lincoln. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and will also be streamed live at www.nebraska.edu. The meeting is open to the public.

The day will begin with a presentation from Cathy Pettid, assistant vice chancellor and dean of students at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, on the state of student mental health in 2021.
University of Nebraska System President Ted Carter will also provide a university update, as campuses near the midpoint of the fall semester.
Items for the Board's consideration include:
- A graduation guarantee for undergraduate transfer and returning students. (Addendum XI-A-1)
- Renovation plans for the Calvin T. Ryan Library at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. (Addendum XI-B-1)
- Renovation plans for the Durham Science Center at UNO. (Addendum XI-B-7)
