NU BOARD OF REGENTS TO MEET DEC. 3

The University of Nebraska Board of Regents will meet Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015, at Varner Hall, 3835 Holdrege St. in Lincoln. Committee meetings begin at 9 a.m. and the Board meeting begins at 10 a.m. All meetings are open to the public. Meetings also will be audio-streamed live at www.nebraska.edu.

Agenda items for the Board’s consideration include:

Approval of an extension to the contract of President Hank Bounds to June 30, 2020. (Addendum VIII-A-2)

Establishment of the Department of Biomechanics in the College of Education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. (Addendum IX-A-3)

Approval of 2016-17 residence hall room and board rates at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. (Addendum IX-B-2)

Acceptance of a gift from the Johnny Carson Foundation to support the Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. (Addendum IX-B-3)

Acceptance of a gift from Ruth and Bill Scott to support the Frederick F. Paustian Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center and the Ruth and Bill Scott Endowed Presidential Chair of Internal Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. (Addendum IX-B-9)
