Statement from University of Nebraska President Ted Carter on the 2020 Big Ten Football Season and Medical Protocols:

"I join Chancellor Green in welcoming today's announcement from the Big Ten, which provides greater clarity about the season ahead. I know our Husker student-athletes, coaches and staff are eager to compete, and like most Nebraskans, I can't wait to cheer them on. I'm so pleased that the conference is taking a collaborative, thoughtful approach that recognizes the great value of intercollegiate athletics while putting health and safety first. I appreciate the leadership of Chancellor Green and AD Moos throughout this process. We have much work ahead, but this is an exciting step forward."
