This summer, University of Nebraska System President Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D. traveled on a statewide tour to each end of the state for conversations with Nebraskans about the future of the university and Nebraska’s growth and competitiveness. The five-day tour, which began in Nebraska City and concluded in Scottsbluff, included stops in a dozen Nebraska communities and engagements with civic, business, education, agricultural, health care, philanthropic and government leaders, along with students, faculty and staff and members of the media.

"Rural Health Matters" is a live broadcast hosted by President Gold every Monday night at 5 p.m. CST on RFD-TV. Each week, he is joined by a guest to discuss various health topics and how they impact farmers, ranchers, and rural Americans.
