The University of Nebraska Board of Regents will meet Thursday, June 1, 2017, at Varner Hall, 3835 Holdrege St. in Lincoln. The Academic Affairs Committee meets at 9 a.m. and the Board meeting begins at 10 a.m. All meetings are open to the public. Meetings also will be audio-streamed live at www.nebraska.edu.
Following are highlights of the June Board meeting. A complete agenda is available here. In addition to the agenda items below, the Board will consider the university's operating budget and tuition rates for 2017-18 on June 1. Those items are being finalized following the recent completion of the legislative session and determination of the university's state funding. Details will be released on Tuesday.
