University of Nebraska System President Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., will deliver his 2026 State of the University address at noon on Thursday, Sept. 3, from the second-floor rotunda of the Nebraska State Capitol.
Dr. Gold will reflect on the University’s current standing; celebrate recent accomplishments in research, teaching, engagement and service; and outline bold steps to continue positioning the NU System for long-term success.
Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend in person or watch the event via livestream. Full details, including livestream access, will be available in the coming days.
